Choreographer, Movement Director & Performer

I am a North East based movement artist working across choreography, performance, movement direction and facilitation. I also have experience as a fight and intimacy coordinator for both stage and screen. My work spans, dance, theatre, cabaret, circus, film, and large-scale community projects across the UK and Europe.

I have over ten years experience working as a facilitator, and I have made work with trained and non-trained performers, most recently as Associate Choreographer on the National Theatre Public Acts production Public Record, creating movement with an intergenerational cast aged 5–90. I am passionate about generating accessible movement spaces that invite people to show up as themselves, and I am committed to approaches that centre care, connection, and joy.

My practice draws on contemporary and classical dance, contact improvisation, physical theatre, and acrobatics. Improvisation, collaboration, and experimentation sit at the centre of my creative process, allowing me to explore movement in relationship to text, space, and visual storytelling.

In my own choreographic work, I explore identity, power and connection, blending movement, text, comedy and visual storytelling to champion queer narratives and challenge traditional norms. I create work that celebrates muted stories, with the hope to hold space for people to feel seen, valued, and empowered.
